I really like how informative this infographic is and the way they used "SMART" as an acronym to breakdown each section explaining the importance of internet safety. In each section it details why it is important to follow the guidelines to keep yourself protected. It explains that not all information on the internet is reliable and being able to learn where false information comes from is important. I like that it says try to limit your friends to "real friends" because people can use false identities to lure you in. I like that it talks about not opening up emails from people you don't know. I think kids and some adults are too trusting of everything they see on the internet. They might find themselves and their technology device in a mess when they open up the wrong email or website. I really like that it says if something makes you feel uncomfortable or threatened tell a trusted adult.
I think this infographic is helpful in explaining the importance of Internet safety to both adults and children. It is a quick reference guide that can be easily shared with parents and students.
